We've recently noticed damp in one of our bedrooms and suspected it may have been due to the guttering. On cleaning, the guy discovered end capping of the roof very loose which we suspect is the cause of the water ingress.
They've advised that scaffolding is needed when fixing this unfortunately which would be a big cost (around £500) and that dry ridges may be the best long term option (for £700).
Would this sound reasonable in London? Understandably we are keen to go fix this soon but not sure if worth waiting a bit longer for more quotes
