I am painting some stone sills with beecks paint, some of them have some defects which need filling, can anyone recommend an exterior filler that would be suitable? Unsure of using modern fillers with the paint. I know beecks do a "silicate filler" but none of the UK suppliers stock it.

I'd really advise contacting the paint supplier on this. My instinct would be to say fill with lime mortar and allow it time to go off.

I agree. There are plenty of specialist stone filling products on the market, but you'd be best to check their compatibility with Beeck.
