Identifying & sourcing door furniture

I’m trying to source door hardware for two new ledge doors being made up and got myself slightly bewildered - before bewilderment turns into frustration and a rash purchasing decision I thought I’d ask here for advice on any good sites for hand forged ironmongery. Photos of what I believe to be the oldest door hardware in the cottage below. Thanks!

I would think any blacksmith would be able to replicate these. Found this with a quick serch

With a phone call you may find one in your area. Also, don’t exclude farriers a lot of them still do general blacksmith work.

If I thought these handles were original I would consider using a blacksmith to replicate exactly but I don’t think they are, and I have 3 different types of door handles so there’s no consistent style to copy.

From what I’ve been able to understand, I have Norfolk thumb latches rather than Suffolk (because my handles have a back plate). I found a Kirkpatrick penny end T hinge that looks an excellent match and their latch set 3622 is very close although the back plate isn’t quite the same shape.

I’d welcome your thoughts on these items and any further suggestions, thank you!

The Kirkpatrick stuff is powder coated and horrible, in my opinion anyway. The previous owner of our house installed a job lot of it before he put the house on the market and I've been gradually replacing it as I get around to it!

Years ago I bought a Norfolk latch almost identical to yours from the period house shop in Warwick, you can still get them from the Ludlow shop, but they have gone up in price !

and you can get fishtail T-hinges at similarly inflated prices!
