Iron hanging nails and hooks

For those with an interest in early houses and usage, I've recently completed our kitchen which is in a section of the house that used to be the buttery and pantry. While removing plasterboard ceilings I discovered quite a few very large hanging hooks / nails and one fixed straight in to a wall. I've uploaded a few pictures if any fellow geeks are interested in that kind of thing!
