Not sure if this is relevant for this group, so if not them please delete. We have a leaking inspection chamber that someone has bodged a plastic pipe into it and broke out the original clay pipe. Looking to fix, but question is can I replace the plastic pipe with another plastic pipe and then fix the benching and sealing around the inlet, or should the inlet be in clay pipe and have the plastic pipe connect on the outside of the chamber. I have found it difficult to find a definitive approach so just looking for what peoples opinions are. Thanks.
