If the boards are in ok condition then they could be refinished. Might be cheaper and easier than replacement and the CO might be more sympathetic to that approachOn the ground floor the floor is simply a concrete screed, and on the upper floor there are the original wooden boards, with no type of flooring ever installed on top. We would like to install parquet throughout the whole house.
