I think, Graham, over many posts you have said many, many rather unpleasant things about me. Nasty, personal stuff.
Don't now try to play the innocent.

I suspect, if your CO is anything like mine, that he would have rejected your plans at the first glance at the window section drawing, this really not being the sort of thing he was hoping for by a long way.But CO has not visited site............
On the other hand K4 does not apply to dwellings. I'm not actually quite certain that there is a rule about windows opening from dwellings onto public footpaths. If there isn't, there probably should e and I always advise clients to fit sliding sashes in such situations.K4. Provision shall be made to prevent people moving in or about the building from colliding with open windows, skylights or ventilators.
Did you not see the pictures? They were posted early in this thread but seem to have been removed again. As I said then, a picture is worth...Pford75 said:I am slightly at a loss as to why such a strong line has been taken. I haven't seen the replacement windows, but surely anything is an improvement on shop windows?
I know this is a non sequitur, but it occurs to me that anyone who was considering buying a listed building, if they read this thread first, would run like hell in the opposite direction!
