I have old boards waxed with Liberon Dark Oak floor polish. Has anybody ever found a way of making rugs non-slip on waxed floors? I've tried various tapes and underlay products but they either don't work at all or don't last very long in non-slippiness (if that's a word). Suggestions would be welcomed.

My guess is the problem lies with your level of polish if those rubberised underlayers aren’t working. We have carpets and rugs on boards and don’t seem to suffer this issue, but our boards are not high shine and the carpets which get walked on a lot are large and have chunky furniture on them. Sorry not to be more helpful.
