Help please, we are just 4 weeks into our new old house, and have had asbestos linoleum removed, then the rotten wood under that taken up and are now back to concrete floor with blackjack,( no dpc ) we’ve been told by the CO taking away the concrete floor is probably a can of worm’s , we agree so my question is how to create as much airflow as possible and to try to combat rising damp without using any modern dpc , do we reapply blackjack to small area (1ft square ) where over the years it’s failed then treated batons then wood flooring? Air bricks outside are way above floor level…
