I have three reclaimed toilets to fit. Two toilets have porcelain cisterns (one high level, one low level) and one has a high level Japkap wooden cistern. All the cisterns have original syphons, which I want to keep.
Non of my overflows go outside so at the moment they are being plumbed to go into the drainage system, which I'm being told by my plumber therefore requires a non-return valve to stop smells coming up from the drain, like this https://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine...ZiZ6_skS-WpsSsA9kEdZoIR-2bn0WfoRoCchcQAvD_BwE.
They are unsightly so I'd much prefer not to have this if possible.
Does anyone know if I can fit an internal overflow with an antique syphon (i.e. one that drips back into the toilet pan)?
Or does anyone have any other ideas what I could do?
Thanks
