Painting ceiling

I don't think it's the paint (white emulsion, on the cheaper end), I think it's our technique. I realised i am not loading my roller properly with the paint. I kinda dip once then try and remove all the excess. When I started loaded it and only getting rid of some of the excess, it was so much easier to glide across the wall. Like this guy:

Neither of us are good at painting it seems. But maybe a better quality paint would have made the difference. I guess i'll find out when we do the living room - I'll make sure to buy something better quality.

Fair enough, you may be right. Painting isn't as easy as everyone thinks, even professionals experience ghosting, Farrow & Ball emulsion has a reputation for that. Its just I've always thought you'd have to go pretty hardcore to mess up standard emulsion, even at the cheaper end.
