I have some oak parquet I want to lay on an existing concrete floor. The floor doesn't have a damp proof layer so it would probably be useful if the adhesive has some damp proof function. I don't want to build up thickness as the finished level is already going to be too high. Any recommendations?
In the snug I have pitch pine parquet and that has bitumen adhesive. I replaced some of that using Black Jack but it's really stinky and takes months to dry. Something more sensible this time around.
