I'm going to ask my plumber tomorrow but thought i'd put this out there just in case anyone else has any ideas...
The plumber has fitted my water supply and waste pipes ready for me to connect bath etc. The waste pipe goes into the floor from the trap, then runs beneath the floorboards and out through the wall. Neat way of doing it as it's a freestanding bath in the middle of the room so pipework is out of sight. However, i'm wondering what folks do about sealing the waste pipe into the floor, (It looks like the plastic push-fit stuff), as there's about half cm gap around the pipe where it goes into the floorboard. I could shove some sealant in there but was wondering if there's any type of gasket or something that could be fitted around the pipe that will clamp against the floorboard?
Thanks again for all the advice.
