Hi there,
I'm looking for some advice as to what to do with the wall plate that sits at the very top of my loft. My house is a Victorian terrace.
It's looking stained and possibly damp but im wondering if it's historical. It feels dry to touch and isn't spongy. The rest of the timber in the roof seems dry and doesn't have any of the white staining.
I'm in the process of selling my house so keen to fix issues like this before!
