Hi looking for some advice, recently settled on a 200 year old upstairs flat in the Scottish Borders.
When lifting up the old cushion floor/ Lino the plywood was stained black and when removing that and another layer of Lino we found this. It feels dry. It is in the bathroom and the kitchen next door is the 2nd and third photo.
There is not damp smell in the flat.
I have had a couple of companies put. One thinks dry rot and one wet rot. There was a historical leak from the Bath/shower.
I would appreciate your opinions.
