Hi Folks
I have an 1840s Irish farmhouse which I am renovating. I have french drains in and a diathonite evolution lime insulation system for the walls.
I'm looking for information on any solid breathable dry floor system that people may have experience in installing in their properties. The limecrete slab method is proving too expensive and so a breathable dry floor system is much more affordable. I'm at the stage where I dug out the floors and I'm about to put in the foam glass, but I have no materials bought for the rest of the system, and I would really appreciate any advice anybody has on the solid breathable dry floor system. So as best way to proceed.
I am using the Old House Eco Handbook as reference for my research so any real world examples would be great
Many thanks
