We have an original barn door which has been converted with a timber double glazed door that spans the opening
Trouble is, the stone either side just runs directly from inside to out with no thermal break
As such the stone inside is about 6c in winter so just a huge “cold radiator”
I’m trying to reduce heat loss in this room. Any ideas what I can do?
I’d rather not just box it in as I like the feature but it’s cold and tends to attract mould.
Any ideas welcome. Ta.
