I've been on the look out for a reasonable 8"+ fan and ducting for that reason.I've been doing very similar to our blue lias flags. Very time consuming, dusty and hard work. I'm about to start on our brick hallway.
I do however have one suggestion that has helped me. Get yourself a large space heater, the ones that look like a jet engine that use a gas bottle. Sit it near an open door or window in the area you are working with it facing so it blows outwards. Turn it on with no gas connected and it will suck out the dust in the air and blow it through the open door. Works a treat as they have a powerful fan. Probably best not to run it towards other people's houses etc though. If it is raining it is even better as the dust is suppressed a bit.
It is amazing it can remove that much dust/air being so small. I might look into it as the thing I use is hugeI use one of these for that purpose - works very well - core drilled a 150mm in breeze block the other day and although I wore a mask, almost no dust caught in the filter at all as fan did a great job of shoving it out the window

Great video, thanks.Hi All,
The latest job on the ongoing (more like never ending) hall and landing project has been to lift, remove bodges, re-lay and re-finish the sand stone floor.
