Hello everyone,
I hope this is okay to post here.
I’m an architecture student based in London, currently working on my final-year thesis. As part of the research, I’m exploring a potential business idea focused on supporting homeowners through renovation and improvement projects — particularly the practical challenges, decision points, and gaps in advice that people experience along the way.
I’ve been a reader in this forum for a few years and have found the discussions here incredibly insightful, especially when it comes to real-world experiences rather than textbook theory. I’m keen to ground my work in genuine homeowner perspectives rather than assumptions.
I’ve put together a short, anonymous survey (5–7 minutes) to better understand the common challenges during home projects
There’s absolutely no selling involved — this is purely research at this stage, and responses will only be used to inform my thesis.
If anyone is willing to take part, I’d be very grateful:
If this post isn’t appropriate, please feel free to remove it — and thank you regardless for the wealth of knowledge shared on this forum.
Best wishes,
Carrie Smith
