A friend has LBC to install a conservation roof-light in his thatched cottage, but the CO wants details of the proposed unit before the work is started. So my pal is looking for options as to what to buy. Needless to say, price is a significant factor.
He's found these people: http://www.therooflightcompany.co.uk/ but their price has nearly given him a heart attack.
He's also discovered that Velux do a conservation roof-light (at a much better price). Does anyone know whether this is acceptable for listed buildings?
Any other suggestions for LBC-acceptable, well-priced suppliers? There's some urgency on this, so a company that produces a standard range is likely to be more attractive than a bespoke-built job.
Many thanks for any thoughts.
