Under the sink

I hate these little bits where it’s impossible to actually put anything underneath it cause the space is so small and this paperwork at the top I know it’s a cottage and I know curtains would be the absolute ideal thing here however, I have a dog home and I have a muddy Newfoundland and I would forever be taking it off and washing it. Any ideas what I can do with this space under the sink

If it were mine I would construct a door and frame to emulate/echo the cupboard to the left.

Surely a Newfoundland doesn't fit comfortably in that space?

Curtains for me, I mean just how often would you need to wash them. I think you can get bull clip type attachments to hang the drape as long as its not too heavy, simple to remove and wash.

Very easy to do “cafe curtain clips” on a tension rod. It doesn’t look like it’s a very big space you need to cover so you might even get away with using a tea towel as the curtain part for the equation.

Find a wicker basket to fit, fill it with tea towels or anything useful for washing up.

I have wooden spoons, rolling pins and booze so I don’t think that’s unusual, but I only have one colander.

Wooden spoons, idle hands waiting for the pot to boil and a variety of carefully arrayed colanders - 'Bangin' I'm told, is a youthful descriptor at present.

Rolling pins? Not to keep his Lordship in Check I hope?
