Spot on your Ladyship. It's a butter pat maker. A lump of butter is placed in the box part and squeezes out of the crinkled hole as the handle is turned where a wire cuts it off into little annoying pats!! You win first prize........ I'll send some over :lol: :lol:

I can't believe that there was a specific cheese thing and I missed it! :lol: The leather thing with the handles looks like it's for lifting things, too small for even a baby elephant though.

Yes Tobydog, that's what it's used for and a very good thing it is because it's quite gentle and you don't have to heave on it to get an animal to go where you want it too. I've used it now quite a lot especially when our donkeys went of to the Donkey Sanctuary to be gelded. We sent all of them, well the three of them to the Sanctuary because of the care they give them both before and after their little op. :shock: :shock:
