That reinforces what I've always felt about your tail, Zebra - it's purely a vanity and an adornment. It certainly isn't long enough to whisk the flies off your face.

Penners, if there's any advice I can give you about tails it's than when a donkey's tail is flicking it's not in a good mood but if it's tucked in all is well. They're related aren't they? Zebras and donkeys I mean... 8)

Vanity? An adornment?! I assure you it's far more than that. It's what DJH said, it's for swishing when I'm cross. And other things. Sadly no, I can't flick flies off my own face, but then I bet you can't scratch your hind feet with your teeth.

This is not a difficult one but it does have a specific use...

Well that's just typical isn't it, I have such a pathetic Internet connection in London this visit that I can only read the forum when I am having a coffee in Starbucks and I miss out on the one time something relevant to cheese making comes up. No idea on the present whatsit, must be for weighing something, but what, pizza dough maybe?

I love lots of things about London, and last time I was here the BT wifi was great ( I buy a one month unlimited deal as not worth having the broadband when I'm here infrequently ) this time it's awful. No idea why, I can look just up the hill to the top of Hampstead Heath and SEE the tower Grrrr

Also other non fun things to do, a creditors meeting for a company I had the misfortune to buy some expensive chairs from. They were supposed to be delivered on my last visit, weren't, were supposed to give refund, didn't, I took court proceedings, they went into liquidation, but have reinvented themselves and are still trading, dreadful people. Need to be disqual'd as directors. Hence meet with Insolvency Practitioner.

On the good side though I did buy a handbag I wanted that they don't stock in Singapore, tempted by boots..........

Off to buy cheese now :lol:

Actually it's even sadder than that ( as some people will know from the other place ) I have been trawling the aisles of that esteemed purveyor of ladies apparel known as Primark. Not for outer garments you understand, but for certain bits of underpinnings, I am not ashamed to say I love a cheap pair of knickers! Got to economise somewhere, otherwise how to afford the bag.

No need to worry, because of the horrid cold weather everything is well covered in the lovely fleecy onesie. In fact Primark also supplied me with an extra onesie for when the first one has to go in the wash. Sadly they didn't still have the rather fetching pink design with the puppy dogs, and I had to settle for grey with white bunnies and that came with a hood with bunny ears.
