I will be getting a couple of radiators installed next week which are around 20kg and as the floor will be up for putting insulation in I'm getting them mounted in advance of putting wood fibre board on the wall.
I know the thickness of the insulation so was hoping to get the radiator mounted correct distance from the wall so that no adjustments are need where the pipes come from the floor when I eventually get the wood fibre installed.
Obviously radiator will need to come off again to do the wood fibre, but how could I could ensure that the radiator is presented the correct distance from the wall ? So far I thought possibly supplying some wood battens with the radiator fitted through these to the solid wall behind.
