Hey all, I've found what to me looks suspiciously like a woodworm larvae, just the one which was actually somehow on top of my computer printer?? Could anyone identify? It was pretty small and quite thin. It seemed to taper down to a small head. Could it be woodworm? Or some kind of moth larvae?
Carpet and clothes moth larvae look similar, and leave tell tale dust and signs around wool or natural fibres, and old ‘cases’ too from the life cycle. If it’s a wood borer then very fine sawdust below where they have been munching is an indicator. Have a very good look around for anything that looks like freshly deposited dust in a localised area. I came home from an extended time away to find beasties had been attacking the edge of a wool carpet, looked a bit like sand when I lifted the edge, dealt with with extreme prejudice.
