The weather really is mad this year. 12' one day then -1 the next... repeating every couple of weeks.

I just adore it. So pleased it didn't get broken! And I really like this thread!Beautiful window, nothing says classic age than a hand blown bullseye

Gosh. I sucked 100ml from four windows this morning. Not personally, you understand...with the Karcher thingy.... Really good to have that moisture down the sink and not re-evaporating from a wet cloth.Just treated myself to a second hand Karcher window vac from eBay and am eagerly awaiting its arrival.

I can't describe how much I love dead space under cabinets being used for secret utility hiding! Well done.Well, it seems nobody has had anything to cheer about for a looooooong time, but I am here to change that. We needed to get a water meter in. I was sure it would be a case of the shaken head and “no can do”, too close to gas line and electricity, no proper access, ‘elf and safety non compliant, cut out a chunk of your cabinets and move the pipe +++ then we might return. But no, a man arrived at the allotted time and he was not about to let any of those things stand between him and his task. Yes it was difficult, yes he had to work lying on the floor and unable to see what he was doing as he was doing it, and check by torchlight afterwards, but IT GOT DONE. And he had travelled all the way from Auckland too, tough lot those kiws
